Esoteric, but Still Terrible

Google Buzz is a bad idea!

People use Twitter mostly because it is a quick, easy, simple way to convey messages to the outside world, be it friends, fans, or just to the internet itself. Google Buzz takes that concept, and completely destroys it. Taking a concept and completely changing it, while holding on to a portion of the initial idea, can be a good thing, but in this case it is not. If Twitter really needed a make over, either aesthetically, or how the idea is implemented, then it is very likely that they would have done it themselves.

There are examples. Twitter has attempted to step in only once, as far as I am aware, to take control of the site from the users, and alter it slightly. I am talking about, of course, the retweet button that the Twitter staff graced us with a few months ago. Since its addition, I have not seen, or heard, of more than a handful of people praise the idea, but many who resented it.

Ideas are mutable, that is fact, but sometimes they are just meant to be left alone.

  1. And yet no one comments this shit. You are like one of those people who look in the TV guide for life evolving changes to their once yet almost clamorous lives. ROCK ON Scuttle rock on
